Our farm has deep roots—started by my great-great ancestors here in Margaree Forks, NS. I moved away for a while, but in 2021, I unexpectedly returned home, and it became clear that farming is in my blood. Watching over this land, just as my ancestors did, feels like a natural calling.
The community around us is everything—my home, my family, my future, and the heart of what I do. I believe in caring for the land and animals with respect, just as those before me did, ensuring that this farm remains a place of life for generations to come.
One of my passions is protecting endangered species, like barn swallows, which are both fascinating and beneficial to our farm ecosystem. This year, we’re also working with Ducks Unlimited to develop a duck pond, creating a habitat that supports local wildlife and benefits the land.
For me, farming isn’t just a job—it’s a way of life rooted in tradition, community, and a love for the land. I’m proud to carry that legacy forward, respecting the past while looking to a sustainable future.
